Diagnosed with Stage III-C Ovarian Cancer March 2009. I had a BSO, splenectomy, omentectomy, and radical debulking surgery. After 6 months of chemo (Taxol, Cisplatin /Carboplatin, Gemzar) I had a progression/ metastasis in November 2009. I got 6 more months of chemo (Topotecan & Avastin) and had another progression/ metastasis in October 2010.

I had a heart attack in the middle of round one, and a pulmonary embolism in the middle of round 2. So. . . I decided to forgo any more chemo. Apparently it's not helping me, and has done more damage than good.

I'm now on Home Hospice care, but living on a prayer. I believe in God's miracles.
